sorry i haven't been blogging in a while. i just finished moving our computer down to the kitchen (i could easily grab a snack or use the microwave while seated!). of course we have some sort of house project going on at all times and right now we're working on our upstairs (our guest room/computer room/random-catch-all room). after many weeks (ok, 3 months) we finally finished painting the wood paneling up there. when we did actually work on it (after hank's bedtime usually) it was a painfully slow project. we painted all the trim and every crease of the paneling had to be hand painted before rolled. anyway, IT'S DONE! and it looks sooooo much better. i love it. now, on to phase 2: taking off the popcorn ceiling. that's why i moved the computer. the dust is incredible and i can't take hank up there which means cut off from the outside world! ...ok, i'm not that obsessed w/the internet, but it really is annoying for me when i can't hop on a couple times a day. we haven't actually started on the ceilings - first we've de-popcorned the stair walls. yes, the WALLS! who's idea was this?! i actually think there was shag carpeting on the walls at one point. i'm not sure what's worse.
i'll post pictures when it's totally done!
i have lots of other pictures to post and stuff to write about, so hopefully i can do that soon.
