It took me a couple days of trying to capture just a few steps on video. By today though I would have been easily able to catch some. He's really picked up this walking thing and gains more confidence and balance every day. Sometimes he can even stand up on his own from a sitting position and then walk.
Things have been a little bittersweet for me as a momma this month. Hank seems like he's left the baby stage and is now a toddler. The old saying 'they grow up so fast' didn't really seem like that big of a deal until now. I also am completely done with nursing and that was surprisingly emotional.
Some of the things Hank does: points, claps, climbs stairs, walks, has a few mini-tantrums, enjoys having his teeth/gums brushed, eats just table food now (loves fruits the most), will offer you food off his highchair, does: 'Soo Big', will sit and listen to a story (1/2 the time), likes to 'stir' with a big bowl and spoon, babbles a lot and is starting to yell a little, does not like diaper changes, gets into everything (like the cereal boxes - and helps himself), and this is the most AMAZING one: will let me take him out of his car seat while asleep, take off his jacket and shoes, and will stay asleep in his crib!! Two words we are pretty sure he's saying: 'kitty' and 'stick'. Why stick? Who knows. It hasn't even been warm that long for him to be outside all that much, but he does love to pick up and eat sticks. He's such a happy boy; people always ask: 'does he ever cry?!' i assure them that he does, but he really is in a good mood most of the time and laughs so easily.

WOW!! We are so impressed. Luke is really good at rolling now and he's working on sitting up, he can't quite do it yet, but he really wants to. We need to see this amazing walking in action!

Yaaaaay Hank! He is growing up so fast! It's funny you post this cuz I just posted the same thing about George....lol. Yeah I know he is a dog but he is my child til I have the real deal! So, since Hank is growing up so fast any talk of another baby?????? :)
He's getting so bbbiiiggg!!! I love when babies first start walking, their stiff little legs are ssoo cute!!!
sorry for the late response amanda, but to answer your question (or not answer your question): we're not sure when baby #2 will come along. on one hand i want my kids to be fairly close in age, but on the other i don't feel ready to take the plunge quite yet. i'm looking forward to being pregnant again someday if it's as easy as it was w/hank. i loved all 42 weeks of it!
He's such a big boy now!! :) Yeah for walking!! Liam loved watching him...He asked for 'mor Ank' after it was over :)
