Last weekend was Bergamot & Ivy's Holiday Open House. Hank came both days, once with Dee and once with Ryan. 
see the big Christmas tree? there's a story about it below....we close the front of the store for 2 days to do a total transformation for christmas. it's pretty fun - we sing christmas carols, order in food, and exclaim how fabulous our merchandise is (or: what were we thinking when we ordered this?!)

Brian's hand-made wreathWell, the open house was fun. Unfortunately our spirits at the shop were a bit crushed on Tuesday when we were totally scammed!! Some dude came in and bought that Christmas tree and most of the ornaments on it, which retails for $1300 and left us with a bad check and a bogus credit card!! We were all sceptical and he got us. Our delivery driver even followed him in his own car and the cops were involved but we couldn't quite close the deal. It makes me SO MAD! There are too many details to write up, but I hope that punk is convicted of something someday.

That place is beautiful. It looks like a magazine! Sorry about the stupid guy. That's pretty upsetting! People don't realize that kind of stuff raises prices for everyone.
I totally agree with Lisa, your pics look like they are from a magazine, sooo pretty. Sorry we were not able to make it, we tried but we both had to work! :( That sucks about that stupid guy, things like that are so frustrating!
Your store is sssooo pretty! It sounds like a lot of fun transforming the store for Christmas! And karma will definitely get that guy who scammed you guys! I hope every time he looks at that tree that's representing a Christian holiday that he feels like crap!!!!!
