In my relative's town they honor each veteran that has passed away with a flag around their park (there are 400 now). My Grandpa passed away last August so he got his flag this year. It's so pretty to see all the flags. After the Memorial Day ceremony/speeches there is a bbq for everyone and the kids can play at the playground (more pics of that lower).
Hank loves getting in there and rough-housing w/the boys even though he's the youngest. I can picture them playing together just like this when they're all teenagers (these are my cousin's kids).
